As a second/third year project at university I was required to design a lounge chair.

My initial designs started out as plush with fully upholstered seating. However after countless iterations and re-design I conceptualised the Vlok Sling Chair. It is a sleek and minimalistic lounge chair that offers endless comfort through the sling that accommodates many body shapes effectively. The sling is made of cotton canvas but can be replaced with a more luxurious heavy canvas backed leather.

The chair design consists of eight parts and is easily assembled using eight hex bolts. The shipped chair  includes a hex key for easy construction by the user allowing for easy transport.
